Default AC not working when on gas

I have a 95 dodge ram 1500 5.2. My ac has freeon in it and works fine at idle or rolling. Whenever i get on the gas a little bit the ac completely cuts off but if i let off and let it roll it comes back on. Anyone know whats going on or how to fix this issue?

That's called "wild vents", and your a/c probably isn't cutting off, its just switching to the defrost vents when you are on the gas. Verify that's what it is indeed doing. If it is, couple check valves in the vacuum lines to the a/c control head, and the problem is greatly reduced.

Loss of vacuum. Check the FAQ/DIY section for 'wild vents', you just need a couple check valves from NAPA to reduce the symptoms dramatically.
