Default Back again...

Ok so guys y'all have been so helpful with my prior issues with my 2001 2nd gen so here I am again. I have a roar when turning to the left and driver side tire is wearing really bad on outside. I'm almost certain it's a bad wheel bearing right?
my next issue is the guy replacing it for me said get the whole wheel assembly and I priced some. The difference is crazy ($40 to $180) I searched for wheel hub assembly on Rock Auto and part number 515084 is what popped up. Does that sound right? It's only like $44 which is much better. I am ballin on a budget but don't want to get trash.
Any help is greatly appreciated as always!

I am running 40in tires on 1500 axles the best I found (last the longest) was Timken (they were OEM). So on stock tire sizes they will last forever. I personally used every brand Moog lasted about 5,000 miles. Timken is made in the USA and is the best

And the roaring noise when I turn to the left means the right wheel bearing is going out? Or do I have that wrong?

Thanks. I don't mean to seem like I'm plain stupid. I'm teaching myself how to maintain and repair my own truck. So far I've replaced thermostat and hoses, plugs and wires, starter, brakes, speed sensors, and now this.

Well great! By the way, could the bearing cause my abs and brake light to come on at about 60ish mph? I've replaced sensors and even abs module to no avail.

Possibly. If the sensor is reading erratic because the bearings are bad, that will annoy the ABS system.

Do you have 4 or rear ABS?

I'm almost certain it's rear abs. The speed sensors being replaced didn't fix the issue nor did an abs module. I wasted nearly 1500 bucks allowing a shop to "fix" my problem. Should they have checked the wheel bearings and all when no other solution was working?
