For awhile, the solenoid has been hanging there, unplugged only connected to the valve, it was driving me nuts until I learned that after ‘97 the EGR system was removed. My truck is a ‘96 but this engine is from a ‘98. Will removing the valve leave an opening/hole or is it just mounted?
