Default Vacuum line?

I found a vacuum line thing behind the distributer on my truck it’s a 5.2l 01 and it’s where you can’t stick your head to look so good tried feeling around but can’t find where it goes it looks just like the weird vacuum line on passenger side of intake manifold that is like a little round sandwich and likes to come off but I need help with finding where it goes because when I let off the gas my ac does the vacuum pop noise once every time. I just need to know where it goes because it confuses me very much since it is attached to wiring harness and doesn’t reach far from fire wall but must go somewhere near distributer.

it’s 4wd but either this line or the thing in the intake p side is leaking lots of vacuum cause my Blendoors don’t work if I go into low rpms then I let off the gas completely and pop blendoors work again but every time I go to low rpms it happens while driving

You sure it isn't white? If it's white that's the vacuum supply for 4wd

If there isn't a break/crack in any of the lines it can be the check valves. Also check the line for the cruise actuator this one cracks often. look through this link

Would the cruise still work if it was and the 4wd doesn’t pop in right away ya gotta drive like 30 ft. The cruise control works besides when I got the bed full of hay and feed then it doesn’t hold it’s self well so maybe that’s it it works normally on hwy just didn’t the other day with the big heavy payload. I looked up diagrams and they Showed it was a diaphragm for gas tank in that location so idk but I want to fix all the vacuum leaks so the vents work this time of year in fl it’s hot.

And I would have to clean stuff off because everything is covered in oil in the engine bay so I really don’t know the color I’ve had to replace many gaskets and lines

A vacuum leak would compromise the cruise control...... Think I would go digging, and see if you find any broken lines.
