Well I bought another crankshaft sensor from a different Dodge dealership and the truck runs great. Burn probably 5000 miles off the 35x 12.5 mud grips on the street in front of the house. Drove great for the short test drive and I will take it for a real drive tomorrow.... probably to the beach. Apparently the other crankshaft sensor I bought from another Dodge dealership wasn't Mopar. They said it was their aftermarket line. So after replacing every sensor and the ECM.....it works. Thanks for all the help and I will update after real test drive tomorrow.

After all I have done, I am still getting a code of too rich on bank 1. Truck doesn't have the power it should. If I get the throttle right ( about midway) it will put you back in your seat. Also my signals, brake and flashers don't work on the passenger side but if I have a trailer hooked up they work on the trailer. Bulbs are fine, relay is clicking...any ideas?

How old are your O2 sensors? If they were replaced, what brand? Leaking injector??

Sorry it took so long to reply. O2 sensors are a few months old and they are NTK. Replaced the injectors. Did vacuum test and all was good. Do you know what brand of TPS works on the Dodge. It not tries to die when I stop, in park if I raise the rooms to 900 then it fluctuates between 900 and 1500 by itself. It tries to die when driving around the same throttle position. I replaced the distributor pickup, TPS, maf and iac when I first started having these problems, all with BMD. Wondering if that is the problem like with the crankshaft sensor.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me..... that would kinda/sorta/almost point at the map sensor...... Could also be a sticking/dirty IAC.....

The only place I could possibly have a leak is around the transmission or transfer case but I haven't been able to find it. All sensors are new but I am wondering if I should get Mopar parts so the computer talks to them

What does your fuel pressure do when you turn the ignition off?

Does anyone know how to reset the TPS on this truck. I am wondering if that is the problem. It reads about 12% at idle. It still fluctuates from about 800 rpms to 1200 rpms without moving the throttle out of gear. After 1200 rpms if holds steady. Driving it spits, sputters and surges around 900 rpms but clears up and runs great after 1200 rpms. People think I am trying to race them.....not good beside a police officer. Lucky he understood.

You can't. 12% at closed throttle is within spec. So long as the value is constant, TPS is working properly. Low RPM instability is usually a vacuum leak.

Dave, do you have or know someone who has a bi-directional scan tool?
