Default Still having issues

After all I have done to the truck, it still seems to be getting too much fuel. And it whistling under acceleration. Professional scanner says all is right......but it isn't. This truck would burn the tires, but now it is bogging then it will put up on hard acceleration. My a/c vents will also change from dash to floor occasionally. Any ideas?

A/C vents changing is known as "wild vents". A common problem on these trucks, generally solved/reduced by adding a couple check valves in the vacuum system. (there is a thread about this in the FAQ/DIY section.)

Does your truck run any better if you unplug the O2 sensors?

It didn't seem to make a difference when I unplugged them. My check engine light came on but that seems to be all.
Should I get new ones?

If unplugging them didn't change anything, replacing them likely won't either. Put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Cycle the key a couple times to build pressure, then watch and see how quickly pressure falls off.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Fuel pressure at 49 psi. No change after 5 minutes on gauge. Still getting PO171 code. It hesitates and sometimes dies. Do you know the proper O2 sensor part number for NTK. It won't read anything else. I really appreciate the help

I also have a spacer (about an inch) under the throttle body. Could this affect it?

System too lean. Fuel pressure is where it should be. Unplug the front O2 sensor, see if the truck runs any better.

Default Grounds?

Did you double check and clean all grounds?
I would suggest even adding a couple of new ones
from engine to frame and engine to body. Many times it is the simple stuff. Dodge pcm easily confused. Also make sure fuse to O2 sensors is good. Sounds like a vacuum leak or bad check valve at throttle body also.

Apparently I had an exhaust leak before the O2 sensor. Truck is so loud I couldn't hear it until I got my lady to rev it up while I was under it. Fixed it then got low voltage on O2 number one. Changed it to the proper one and then got low voltage on O2 number 2. It was plugged in backwards ( previous owner shaved guides off of plug. Running pretty good but not what it did. Still have a whistling under hard acceleration. People have asked if I have a turbo on it. Any ideas on why. I am hoping it is the final problem on this truck. I really appreciate all the help

I have seen the intake gasket go bad causing a whistling sound
