DG/OR looks like the power (tired at the moment lol) and it goes on the right side with the nipple (for the plug) on the coil facing the front of the truck.

I don't *think* so.... after all, it is just copper wire wound around a metal thingy. (yes, that's a technical term.) I really don't think polarity matters.

But there always is a small chance he could hook it up wrong and throw the earth of it's gravitational axis
