Default Huges Intake

so just signed for this, hopeing for some in sight. i just put the Huges Intake Manifold on my 5.9L and, i have a hissing sound comeing from the rear of the truck sounds like a leak but i can not find it. ive used my stethoscope , crab cleaner etc can not figure it out, and along with the intake i have a slight ticking sound, that i have never had. truck idels fine runs great only other thing is when in over drive ( 45 and up) i get a slight jerk. not all the time and some times it does not do it. all sensors are new, all hoses are new, all gaskets are new except for head. i did read about some one doubling up on the air box gaskets, and also, read about T.P.S wires may be to blame for the slight jerk. would love some feed back

I have the Hughes intake and have no issues. Hissing sound is usually air escaping

Default Huges Intake

lol i started a thred in the rong spot ( like an ***) due to not reading properly on what to do, so here is a short history on me , i have 1998 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9L quad cab 228, on my baby.
got the truck from someone who did not take care of it at all. my first engine took a crap had valve spring break while driveing and the valve stem droped down in the piston, got a used engin on line with what i wad told had 80, on it. any ways have changed my plemum gasket 2 times before and really sick of doing it, all gaskets are new except head, all sensors are new, all hoses are new, exhaust and cat both got done last year running 3" from the cat back to a flow master super 10 muffler then straight duels back, any ways i have inquied a ticking sound that has never been there after i just put on the huges intake fl airgap manifold and a constant hissing sound that seems to come from the rear passanger side of the truck.

I believe they went all in but I would have to look again. Even if they didn't the thread sealer should sell the threads
