Default BUZZER kinda driving me batty - any issues with removing?

I have a '97 1500 and invariably seem to be doing a lot of work where I need door open or ignition on. The buzzer is driving me nuts. Any issues if I am able to find a way to rip it the heck out of the fuse block?

Thanks.

Jay

Thank you. I'm confident I know which is the buzzer - it's a 1 1/4" tube about 1/2" in diameter at top left of fuze panel. My question is: What happens if I remove it? Will problems occur? Pretty sure I'm going to have to ruin it to pull it out - no room to pull it straight out.

I don’t know about these trucks, but in Jeeps pulling the buzzer module disabled some other system (alarm, door locks, something)...

The fix was to open the module and pull the diaphragm out of the buzzer... that way it was in circuit, but had no squark.

Wasn't there a thread where a member did just that around here somewhere?

Theres two ways: pull the buzzer module, or pull the fuse. I personally love my buzzer.
