Yeah i mean i already bought it, so might as well replace it if i can ever find it. As for the scanner, i did actually just buy a cheap on for another vehicle, but for this truck it isnt showing any CEL so will it help?

Might be able to look at live data, and see what the various sensors have to say.

Issue solved! *fingers crossed* It now does not have any of those symptoms anymore, which normally the TPS or IAC wouldve fixed. So the issue was that the TPS was not installed at the angle where the internal springy thing needs to catch the tab in the throttle body. You need to install the TPS at an angle, and then it catches this little nub sticking out. I had missed that nub (hey, i didnt know lol) and therefore any time there was even a slight adjustment i the rpms from anything, it would stall and give all the symptoms as mentioned above.

On another note, i still did inspect internally and as i predicted there is oil coated lightly over everything. I didnt see any pooling. Truck is back to normal (seems like ages) but i suppose i need to get that plenum issue taken care of sooner than later?

If you aren't burning a lot of oil, you can wait for warmer weather.

Sounds like a plan! I have updated results. So my current truck symptoms are that it sometimes stalls/wants to stall if i let off the gas pedal (like going from Reverse to a coast, or Drive to a coast). Is this now back to the crankshaft sensor you mentioned earlier?

Possibly, more often though, it is the IAC motor.

So i gotta bring up this thread again, as my original issues are back. Same thing as in my OP: when in reverse or drive, whenever i let off the gas when going between 1-20mph the rpms drop and the truck stalls most of the time (or at the very least the rpms will drop super low until i immediately tap the gas quick to make it idle normal again). As mentioned above, I originally started with the IAC and then i fixed the TPS. The engine ran a bit better after replacing the TPS, but it still sort of had same symptoms. It just got worse over time and now back to where i began. Any help would be appreciated!

Check and clean the IAC. Reset the PCM, and let it relearn the various sensors. See if anything improves.

Maybe 2 years? Battery is good though; it is fully charged and voltage is great. This specifically isnt battery related. I keep coming back to the IAC theory (even though its new and the throttle body was just cleaned and pcm reset). Its like the IAC isnt working properly..Not sure
