well if i went with the aftermarket computer do you have to tune them yourself?

Most of them these days are "self learning". There is a procedure you go thru initially, then you just drive it normally, and the computer figures it out. (for the most part.....)

What is it exactly you are trying to accomplish with a tune (or new PCM)?
