ah well i not re taking the shafts out and put a spaceer in i dont even have a spacer
but
so i assembled the 4x4 part can you tell me if the clip is in properly.. i had to file the top some as it was sooo tight i couldnt get the C clip in.. but now i not sure if its too loose as i can pull it out easily with a scriber.. but the orginal was was sooo tight i chad to chisel it out
so i wasnted to make sure if little loose is ok if not ill paint the end so ig gives a bit of thickness.. the scraches is from me before when i tried to get the old C clip out.. also i drive on average maybe 1000km a year on the truck maybe 2000 maybe less for 2020 i put less then 200km
i dont drive it much its jsut there when i need it to take stuff bigger then my car so i drive it occasional.. on my property i drive it around but on the road its occasional and lot times in winter for the 4x4 as the roads are always slick around my place

You don't need to pull the axle shafts' you put a spacer on the shaft of the vaccum actuator to keep the fork engaged. You can use washers, a hose clamp or a short piece of pipe for a spacer, doesn't really matter, or you can remove the e clip and slide the fork over and put it back like in this video.
