Think I'd they are brand new (installed last July) I think the Chineseium in that one failed

 

LOL. Think I would still replace them both........ Just because.

 

I also took a closer look and I did not install two large shoes. I think I didn't have the "parking brake cam", as Dodge calls it, between the brake shoes. There 2500/3500 "small shoe" isn't that much smaller.

Unfortunately the parts store is a 2 hour drive they only had 1 (Chevy 3500 wheel cylinders) and can't get another one until March 18. If it blows I'll rebuild it as I have a few kits from Rockauto. I just hope it blows when it's summer

 

Parking brake now works! Had to mess with the adjuster some but more it works!
