I need some input on reading spark plugs. I have a 2001 Ram 1500 3.9l, all the plugs look like this. I'm thinking it's too rich at idle and too lean at wot. What do y'all think?
Runnin' a little hot, but, still OK. Are those platinum plugs? If they are, go back to standard copper plugs. These engines don't really care for the rare earth fellers.

They're bosch iridium plugs. I just swapped them out for some E3 plugs, 8mm wires, a new cap and rotor and a hotter coil. It seems to have a little more power now. What are your thoughts on the E3 plugs? I also have a cold air intake on the way since the factory intake finally got to the point of no repair. I already fixed it a couple of times with JB Weld and fiberglass. I think it's made of the same plastic as my see through dash was.
