Yeah, the condenser looked like it was hooked to the coil holdown. Heads were off when I got it, somebody's son in law broke a piston street racing the truck. I put it on a trailer, cheap.
How will you compare the baseline of the MAP and the other pressure gauge? They both operate at 5V, or do they both read at in.Hg or PSI.? or you can operate the MAP at the same voltage.

The map reads in kPa through my SCT hand held. The sensor I have access to reads in kPa as well. Just have to hook it up to a vacuum line and compare the two readouts while running.

Yeah that's what I am concerned about. When I was torqueing down the lower it just felt a bit off to me, but not in a way that was overly concerning. At least until now. The lower intake is off the truck the heads came off of though. We'll see. I ordered a gasket kit. Going to do some investigating this weekend.

This is a V-10.... so, plenum gasket just isn't a concern. Maybe I should read the title before responding.

Still could suck in some oil from the lifter valley, just no where for it to accumulate since its right at the intake port. On a side note I looked at my overhead display, 5.6 mpg since rebuild. Something is way off, even the hardest pulling and drift busting snow banks never saw mpg that low. All my test driving has been gentle, so far.

Brand new, the ones I took out were 3yrs, 5k miles. The new ones helped it idle when hot. Both sets were NTK brand.

Hhhhmmm.... Wonder if it's just being inaccurate, or something else is going on there....... Is your exhaust still stock?

Well the truck has sat for a week and has developed at least on misfire, maybe 2. Pretty consistent but not constant. However it gave me this clip...................
