Default Crank but no start

So i have a 98 with the 5.2l 318 single cab and i was driving the other night and lost power in the throttle, after a few hours of trying stuff i gave up and got a tow. I like to belive its a fuel pump but im not 100% sure. I recently changed all plugs and dizzy cap n rotor.
I put a new battery in also.
then the other day i tried to start it and it said i had no furl even tho i had a full tank. The next day it was reading full. Any input will help. Thanks!

The module itself. Essentially, the part you replace when the pump does fail. It inserts into the gas tank.
