Hey everyone, I broke a connecting ron in my 2000 dodge ram 5.2 4x4, someone local has a 5.2 out of a 1994 jeep. My question is can I strip the engines down and use the 94 block and rotating assembly with all the 2000 stuff?

Isn't the starter motor on the opposite side?? 92 was the first year for the magnum though, so, theoretically, it *should* work. Have to use the intake and sensors of the dead motor though.

If he uses his transmission it would stay in the same place
As far as I know they are the same. Can you get the engine to do some measurements on it? Is it already pulled from the Jeep? It wouldn't take much to just measure where the mounts are on your block and then measure his. But I have never heard anyone talk about any issues swapping engines around thru the years on any of my Jeep forums.
