You're definitely running rich. Hotter spark may mean a cleaner engine and better fuel economy. Swap them out, properly gapped, and see how your fuel consumption and power does. I'll bet they both improve. I still like to change mine every 30,000 miles just so they don't seize in the heads and it keeps the engine happy.
She was running rich, now I get lean codes. Lol! Dang fuel pump. I honestly didn’t know I had to gap them, I thought they came pre-gapped. The gap for these engines are .035, the plugs I got are preset to .036. Will I have issues? She seems to run fine.
