I used the eBay EQ store and it came ready to bolt on. I had to change the springs though as I went with a new cam. I think I paid $650 with shipping

It looks like Odessa currently only sells the EQ head new per head and not in pairs. Pricing has also jumped up in 2021.

I looked, performance heads $1320 fully assembled and they will make adjustments to your setup. Sounds good.

Gas mileage? Hhhmmm..... probably won't change much. Of course, initially, your gas mileage will be worse, as you will constantly be playing with that new-found power.

Not like these trucks were fuel misers even when they were new.

Even without the cam though, you will still need a custom tune to get the most out of your engine. Your truck is 96 or newer, right?
Hey You, funny you that you mention that the 2nd gens aren't fuel misers but my 5.2L gets better mileage than my 2016 1500 hemi. The old truck (has a cheap skate 08 battery) started fine without plugging even in the -36 deg F stuff. I didn't even bother with the starting the new truck
