Default 95 Dodge ram tranny issues

Hello everyone. I am a newbie. I am having trouble figuring out what these pieces are off of and where they came from. I found them when I was removing the output shaft.

I have looked and looked. I can not find where it came from. My only thought is that it was on the bottom of the output shaft?

2 wheel drive. I have no clue. I have l looked over and over on where it goes. It has to be a small bushing tho. The half circle piece fits perfectly on the very end of the out put shaft. I am thinking thats where it goes. But the parts store tells me that it dont exist?

Don't always trust the parts store.

There *should* be a bushing in the end of the tailshaft. That one shows up on some parts diagrams, but, not on others..... No clue if the design changed over the years, or what..... or maybe it was just a goof in the parts catalog. Of course, I believe that bushing is also bronze, or something, and yours doesn't appear to be the correct color for that..... Have a look at the tailshaft housing. See if it sheds any light on anything.

Moving this to second gen ram section for ya.

Morning, I believe I have located the mystery pieces. my part is one on the wooden bench. as you can see there is no copper looking bushing in the hole. In the video it has a copper bushing. Now the question is. what is that bushing called?
