Default A. C. System condenser replace

Well while I'm waiting for my transmission to be repaired or rebuilt I'm changing the AC condenser I haven't researched YouTube yet because I always find more valuable expert information here before I start the videos. So what should I know and what should I look for in replacing the air conditioner condenser on the front of my 1994 Ram 1500 Laramie SLT 318 / 5.2 engine. System apparently been "open" for several months.

So, no pressure on the system? If so, then just pull the old one, install the new one. Replace the receiver/dryer as well, since the system has been open for so long. Then pull a vacuum, to make sure there aren't any leaks before attempting to charge it. Either that, or, you can replace the parts that need it, then take it in to a shop to have the system leak checked, and recharged....
