Default Noob

Hi, noob here. Been a minute since being on a forum. Recently got a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. It has the 5.2l auto and teetering at 180k. Got the goose through Facebook and it needed "few things", lol. Well, needed everything (i have the parts list) but hub on driver side and caliper, brakes, rotor for the passenger side. Mind yall, I drove this thing back home just knowing map sensor and gas gauge didnt work. After a week of shopping for parts and 1 day installing em thanks to my father in law. Pic is of the day I got the goose (daughter found a truck pen and started her art, lol)

At first I thought it was pretty handy for a truck to come with a kid. That way you don't have to wash it yourself. There's nothing wrong with being a Noob. Get a little experience and you'll be like the rest of us. We changed the N to a B (for Better) quite a while ago. Us ***** like to see new blood here.

Named her goose cause it has a half *** air horn, lol. Sounds like a sick goose and it stuck. As for offroad edition, not sure. Has a stock lift (I think) sitting on 2in blocks. She turned 20 this month, door tag reads 04/01. After decoding the vin, I discovered she's a Missouri built Dodge from St. Louis (bout 2.5 - 3hr drive from me) pretty trippy since she's my first Ram. Lol, that's my youngest and first one to go through "dads truck" lol. She still has quirks to work out, like the sudden yank of the wheel that smacks me off the door, the missing and popping (was told the map sensor being crap itd cause it) and the feel of fighting it more than driving it.

Off Road edition will have a decal on the tailgate, gas tank skid plate, 4.10 gears, and a trussed front axle

Didn't have a tailgate when I got her, one on it is from a parts yard (had 3 colors to choose, lol). Wasn't any badges or a skid plate to cover the gas tank and the front axle, ain't sure. She sits like she's lifted but however she is it's done like its stock.
Discovered on her first night drive that I dont have dash lights, I know they work cause seatbelt, brake, abs and gas light usually stay on, lol. No lights for speedo and the such. Still working on the stereo glitch were it resets every time its turned off, installed another stereo and still does it. Wired up how it should be and fuses for radio and the "cluster a and b" fuse checked out fine and not burnt. Don't really plan to go "bro truck" with it, mostly a family weekend through the woods or whatever. More practical than looks, but she's my ugly goose that'll be a beautiful muddy goose someday, lol.
