The IOD fuse is the one in the yellow holder that you replaced. As for finding your short I would start with a wiring diagram. Also if you have enough time before the fuse pops try to notice what isn't working. Look for your short there first.

RE: no Power to radio, interior lights and dome light and electric locks
We had a problem in our Durango that was basically identical and found all we needed to do is reset the computer. To reset all you need to do is disconnect the (-) battery terminal, turn the ignition switch to on for atleast 15 seconds then back to the off position, then reconnect (-) battery cable. The only difference we had from the symptoms you have mentioned is that our turn signals wouldn't work, other than that everything was identical. I don't understand how the computer had any effect on most of the circuits, but has been working fine for over a year since this happened.

Thanks for all the help in diagonising the problem. I tried the disconnecting the battery cable and it worked for a few minutes and then had the same problem again. I then got a wiring diagram and it seems there is a short somewhere in the overhead lights and map courtesy light. With the help of one of my friends (mainly his expertise) we disconnected the overhead courtesy lights and map courtesy lights and everything seems to be working. He said that the wiring circuits in some of these systems are made to deteriorate after about 10 to 15 years. I hope that this isn't the case because I love my old truck and it has 242,000 miles and is still going strong.

I also am having the same problem on a 98 quad cab. I look at the fuse box on the side of the dash and I have 2 10 amp fuses with yellow covers on them. The have AIRBAG written under them. Are these the fuses you are talking about?
Thanks for the help.
