I have a 2001 Ram 2500 longbed reg cab 2wd, re46, 5.9 v8. 35 gal fuel tank. I have read that 1998-2001 1500, 1998-2002 1500 and 1998-2002 3500 are the same part number for long beds
None have appeared at the local and pick and pulls.
Need a fuel tank.
what other fuel tanks will swap in, and have you done it? Needs to be emission compliant.

Only ones that will swap in you listed. Could go to a 25 or 34 gallon tank but that will require a new fuel pump
There is a leak in the front rollover valve- vent due to rodent nibbling. Nipple that goes to plastic vent line is gone. Two of them come together and go to the charcoal canister. These valves are glued into the tank. It triggers a P 0455 code. If I have to drop the tank I would like to have a good one on hand.
Went and looked at a extracab 4x4 5.9 v8 and it seemed different.

Longbed regular cabs seem to be outliers.
You can change the rollover valves... They aren't glued
