Question Vacuum Line issues

Hey I'm new here as I just got an 01 Ram 1500 with the 5.9 magnum and it has about 155,800 miles. It was having a bogging issue past 1600 rpms but I was able to figure that was the fuel system which had broken down fuel in it. I got that fixed and then I started having an overheating/mass bubbling in the radiator and coolant overflow reservoir. I'm positive that was the thermostat as I was able to move the old one with just my fingers. But now I'm onto the vacuum lines and a few of the thin hard plastic ones are broken on the passenger side of the engine. I know I need new ones but I am having issues finding the right diagrams (I have a book too diagram isn't the same) to show me where the lines are supposed to go and so I know which ones I need to buy. Just wondering if anyone out there has gone through this job already and possibly can post images of their engine bay/lines or that can help me out in anyway. Thank You.

Grab the service manual for your truck from here. Should find what you need in there.

Even the FSM didn't give good diagrams of the vacuum lines which I found odd

I have one, the diagram even says that your engine could vary from the picture as the manufacturer changes things year to year. I'm looking for something accurate to my year. Thank you for the help nonetheless.

Probably not going to find anything...... The vacuum system on these trucks is pretty simple though...... So long as the right stuff gets the vacuum it wants, should be good.

Alright so just make sure the ports all get the vacuum they want. That sounds easy enough, do you know what brand hoses and lines I should go with?

I just buy the generic 'rubber' stuff from the parts store. The stock plastic lines get dry, and brittle, with age.... so, making the ones under the hood go away really isn't a bad plan. Don't forget the check valves though. (search on "wild vents" )

Also remember, no all the ports on the intake were actually used. One or two of 'em were just capped off.
