1998 Dana 60 Rear Replacing All The Bearings
I have my rear all torn apart (lol), and I'm going to replace all the bearings due to what I found in this thread here https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...rier-slop.html
Pretty sure the only good bearings I have left are the passenger side wheel bearings but I'm doing those too because I have no way of making sure they aren't contaminated, plus it's easier to clean everything out if all the bearings are out.
I'm on Rock Auto and SKF has a kit SDK331A that includes everything I need for the differential. I'll get the wheel bearings, seals, nuts and wedges separate I guess.
On some sites though, this SKF p/n is listed as being for the front: Example
Can anyone confirm if that kit is for both front and rear?
Also, is anyone aware of a kit that includes what I need in one shot, or is there a better way of going about getting this stuff?
Rock Auto seems to have everything except the hub nut, locking wedge and thin walled socket for it, the axle flange nuts (some were broken) and the diff cover bolts (all were rotted)
Torque King seems to have everything but they are pricey ($40 for one hub nut vs. $20 at Advance).
Thanks!
