Default Throttle stuck

So guys i just finished replacing my valve cover gaskets about thirty minutes ago and when i cranked my truck it was fine for about thirty seconds. Then it revved up to 4k rpms and tried accelerating without me putting my foot on the gas. I immediately cut it off. Whenever i crank it now it reva right up to 4k rpm.

it wasnt doing this before i replaced the gaskets.

im almost positive i put wverything back in the correct place

Edit
i didnt look hard enough found the problem. My gas pedal is stuck. Theres no way this would have anything to do with the repair i did rifht?

Well, the valve gaskets have nothing to do with the accelerator but if you removed the throttle body and throttle cable, then it might be caught on something. Take the air box off and check the cable.

yeah i didnt figure so, its just odd it happened right after i finished with them. But i didnt wven touch the throttle the only thing i did was take the air filter box off.

i unstuck my pedal and lubed it down to prevent it from being stuck. But instead of pressing down smoothly. When i press the gas there is a lot of resistance. Super similar to pressing the brake pedal when a car is off

Check the cable up at the throttle body, might have knocked it off one of its pivots, in which case, it becomes REAL hard to get it to move.

Yep. Throttle body is where you have to look. The cables hook to a bracket that bolts to it. They have to be routed right and clicked into place.
