Hey Guys, I'm having a problem with a swap of mine in my dodge truck with the Zf5 speed, it was the Ford 31 spline output for the t Case, the stock 241dld that came out of my 94 8.0 auto has 21 , I'm wanting to get 4x4 working again in the truck because right now I have a 2wd ZF5 IN and have a 4x4 ZF sitting on the floor and so is my transfer case I'm wondering if there was a Cummins version of the 241 that has the 31 input on the t Case if any of you have one I'd be interested also trying to make the t Case mounted speed sensor and vaccum switch work, so the Ford t Case is out, it's a 94 dodge ram with a 7.3 IDI and Zf5 s5-42 5 speed, thanks guys I hope for the best 😁

 

I can find 29, and 32 spline..... but, no 31. Might be easier to find the correct ford T-case, and adapt the driveshafts instead.

 

Need the dodge speed sensor and vaccum switch...

 

What year is your truck?

 

94 dodge ram 2500 8 lug

 

Need to figure out what signal the dodge VSS puts out, and find something that will generate that signal for you then, from whatever T-case you bolt to the back of it.

Advance Adapters might have something to hook up the 241 to your trans..... I haven't checked.

 

They have a 31 spline to a 23 spline for a zf to Dana 300 which is 23 spline, same as the 241Dld but I keep seeing a mention of a 241 with 31 splines I try to find information but can't find what it's out of any idea?

 

The sites I have check, don't have anything 31 spline for the 241..... At least, not that I have been able to find.
