Default 5.9 Magnum Build

So i have a 5.9 that i plan on swapping into my 5.2 dodge 5 speed. The block has been at the machine shop and the guy bored it over .30 even tho i didnt tell him to but im fine with it. Hes giving me real good rods, Hypereutectic Pistons, and a crank. None of that really matters to this post but im looking for an aftermarket intake manifold. I cant seem to find any, im probably just looking in the wrong places. Could anyone send me a link or something to an aftermarket intake. Just want more air flow and for it look better honestly.

About the only option you get these days, if you wanna stick with EFI, it the Hughes Air-Gap, for around 600 bucks. Or, if you get REAL lucky, an M1 2barrel. Those have been out of production for some time now though, so, finding one new isn't going to happen. Finding one on the used market is a shear stroke of luck.

What do you want to use your truck for? If you wanna do 'truck stuff'.... A modded kegger might be your best bet.

I found an M1 2 barrel fuel injected intake a few years ago used on our local Craigslist, along with a set of 5.9/5.2 JBA coated shorty headers. You might also check Facebook Marketplace. eBay is another decent source, too. M1 intakes pop up there from time to time.

BTW, if you're going to run an M1 2 barrel fuel injected intake, be sure to have some additional rear end gearing to help get the truck moving well from a dead stop. The stock kegger intake is made for real low end torque and the M1 kills a good bit of that low end. Steeper rear end gearing helps to alleviate that out of the gate sluggishness when using an M1 intake..

An m1 will kill the torque below 4000rpm. Look into this https://utawesomeperformance.com/kegger-vrp.html

Where do you want your power band to be? Not many options if you want to keep it low except the kegger. You can get new heads with the LA style intake then you could have many options. Keep in mind the stock EFI is limited to 500 cfm. You may want to check out the link...

Gotta be careful with flow ratings. They *seem* to be standardized, but, they aren't. Different manufacturers rate their injectors at different pressures... So, the pound rating by itself is meaningless. Need to know what pressure it is tested at as well, and you can calculate standards from there.
