Can you possibly provide a photo of the snapped off bolt that you're working with, along with the year, make and model and the engine installed in your truck?

If you need a new bolt they are 10MM x 1.5 pitch.

You don't need a sway bar. I ran a 2001 lifted 18 inches with 44s without one for years. If you do want one I would try a rivnut. It's a threaded rivet.
