Thanks in advance, newer user of Torque App and can't seem to find much info on installing predefined 2nd gen Dodge onto app. Anyone have success with this?

Do you actually need to install it, or is it already built into the app?

I'm new to it but I believe it has to be installed. The general set up allows for generic inputs but hoping to gain access to more bells and whistles if it can link with exact model/year etc.

I see expanded pids for a lot of manufacturers, but, Dodge is conspicuously absent..... Cummins forum has a few. Not sure how much will apply to a gas engine.

I too see a lot of chatter on the web regarding diesel users but still hoping to find some users here. Fingers crossed.

For example, I am trying to see if I can receive a trans temp reading. Other than that I'm interested in seeing what else can be viewed.

I got the torque app to display trans temp. I used a PID from the 4th gen section on another forum (can't remember it). I do know that it's the 5th one I tried.

Wow, five tries...Looks like it might be an experimental thing! Have you discovered any other helpful PID's that are available?
