Default 96 ram, obd 2 truck.. but I put a 95 dash in it... help

Okay so I got a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 beast, it had the crappy plastic dash curse. Well my cousin had a second gen (1995) parts truck with a mint 100% intact dash. Obviously I jumped on that, got that out without any incidents, Kept the harness. Installed that with the harness in my 96 and deleted the obd 2 like a jack ***
how can I convert this back? Should I grab an obd2 harness that looks good from the junkyard and reinstall the dashboard? Or can I wire the obd 2 in any way.. I'm leaning towards the reinstall with proper harness. Just looking for suggestions,

P.s the dash was immatation wood grain and not damaged.. I had to. Also I plan on doing a 408 stroker kit in it with a mild cam, and total engine and tranny overhaul. So a tuner that hooks to obd 2 is in my future. Thanks for reading I'm new to this forum

Yeah, I would think you'd have to reinstall the full OBD2 harness and computer. May have to swap the gauge cluster too. But I'm just guessing here.

Won't need the cluster, but, you will need the correct harness.
