I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 318 automatic 4x4. My heat works great but when i get on the throttle it turns off. You can hear a door open and close when i hit the throttle. So im assuming its a vacuum issue and its pulling the door shut

I'll bet it's going to the defrost mode for a bit. It's a common issue when the vacuum check valve starts to go. Look for a thread on "Wild vents". Autozone and O'Reilly's didn't carry the proper part but Advance had it on the shelf. Under $10 and about 10-15 minutes to fix.
i cant find the thread about it tho. I saw one saying i needed to check my cruise control vacume lines which im going to do later. But if you could direct me to the thread that would be great or if you know what the name of the part i need is.
Maybe. But first I would remove the battery and battery tray, and check the hose to the cruise control servo. Those hose often gets damaged by battery acid
Probably a couple. They are both the same part number. Dorman #47170. Advance is the only place around here that had them. I also got a short section of vacuum hose as I had to cut mine to get it off. U of Y (University of Youtube) has a couple of videos on Wild Vents.

Napa has the same one just a different part #: NOE 7301349 If you do put new ones in make sure you put them in the correct way(flow towards the engine).
