Default Flashed Computers and SMOG

Not sure if this applies to our trucks. I drive my truck about 500 miles a year so it doesn't need a tune. Wanted one but if this is the case oh well. Now my X5 50i (Twin turbo 4.4L) I was going to flash my computer for more HP.

I think some of the tuners actually have a CARB approval number.... but, not many of 'em..... One option would be to run the tune, but, reset back to stock a while before your inspection is due, so all the monitors can complete. Get your inspection, reinstall the tune.
