Sure, I installed the sylvania silver stars, and those are at least decent. What REALLY helps the stock system is the heavy duty headlight harness. (available in various places) Supplies power to the lights directly from the battery, and also reduces the load on the headlight switch as well. (a known problem on these trucks....) Having your headlights aimed properly is also a good idea.

As HeyYou stated, you can upgrade the bulbs to improve your stock 2 bulb headlight's output, however, if you want the brightest headlight output, the sport headlight upgrade along with an upgraded relay harness will provide you with the most legal light output possible, as its hard to beat the sport's 4 headlight bulb output vs. the stock style 2 headlight bulb output. The relay harness I use has all 4 sport headlight bulbs on in low beam or high beam, since each bulb in the headlight has a low and high stage.

Hey Dodgeboi, Fahren headlights. come with a builtin relay and it is a direct plug up to your original harness
