Some dealers look at it like a lost key, they won't program the remote inless you have the title with you to show ownership.

 

I went up to the dealership and they wanted $48 for the remote and $45 to program it. that sounds crazy to me. they said they have to charge me a half hour shop time to program it. im going to try another dealer just to check the price.
