How do I remove the O2 sensor or do an exhaust check ? Is this something I can do myself or does it have to be taken to a shop ?

It doesn't do it in cold while in 'P' seems to idle fine.

If you have the right size wrench, (or, a pipe wrench....) you can pull the O2 sensor yourself. They tend to be stubborn though..... Remove it, go for a drive. Run better?? (It'll be loud....)

The truck will run better. More power off idle, etc, as it isn't being choked by a clogged cat.
