I have a friend who wants to upgrade his motor from a 5.2 to a 5.9. Will his 5.2 kegger intake bolt up to any year ('94-'01) 5.9 short block? Also, are the intake port sizes the same for both the 5.2 and 5.9 kegger intakes (I'm thinking that they are, but wanted to verify)?

 

So far as I know, the manifolds are exactly the same. There are changes over the years, EGR went away for 96, and the second temp sensor disappeared in 98, but, it will still bolt right on.

 

Thanks for the thoughts. If my friend moves forward with his 5.9 swap, we'll double-check to ensure the intakes are the same, port-wise.
