STILL no heat. Please HELP
I take a look at the instructions. Sure look expensive damn. Thus truck is starting to be a burden lol
after I changed the heater core I used one of the spill free kit funnels to top off the coolant. I thought the main purpose of those was to get rid of any air bubbles. And I thought I was quite successful in thar department 🤔

My theory is, because the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system, getting all of the air out of it is almost impossible without some gymnastics. Either parking the truck on a high pucker-factor hill, or jacking up the front end a bunch, or some other method of getting the radiator cap above the heater core, by a reasonable amount. I've had this problem on both my trucks. Open the cooling system, and getting the heat to work like I think it should afterwards, is a major pain. I was going to try the T in the heater outlet hose, but, on my V-10, there is NO access to that hose in the right spot, without pulling the upper intake off.
They are more designed to reduce the mess ya make when burping the cooling system.

If I was going to be doing it on a regular basis, on different trucks, then yeah, the tool would be neat. (and if you could pull enough of a vacuum, I suspect it would work rather well...)
Seems to me $75 is worth it to have heat. If you had a shop do a vac fill on your cooling system it'd be, what, $250 after labor, fluids, shop supplies and disposal fees? Use it on a neighbor's or friend's car and you're a hero....
Incidentally mine is in the mail. I ordered a few days ago when I found it. I'm an hour from the nearest HF so the $7 FedEx was worth it, plus it's almost a wash after 8% tax in-store or 2.9% delivered to me

I see. Thats cool you have v10!
anyways , I'm confused with everyone's suggestions.
Which way should I try to properly get rid of whatever air I have possibly in the system then?
I could go to the parts store and get a flush kit some time this week. What is the proper procedure for this do I have to cut my Heater core line to install the T? Running water to flush right now is a no go! -40 with the windchill right now and my garden house ain't doing **** lol. My province was the coldest place in the world last month next to a town in Russia 🤣
