Default Rats ate my 2001 Dodge Ram wiring

I inherited a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 engine. It set under a carport out in the country for 2 years before I got it. Rats made a huge nest under the hood and chewed up a several wires and vacuum lines.
I have rewired everything except the wires to the 2 oxygen sensors so far. I will probably find more that I don't know about yet.
I am getting a few codes they are;
P0132 Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 sensor 1 Shorted to Voltage
P0031 Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 sensor 1 Heater Circuit Low
P0138 Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 sensor 2 Shorted to Voltage

P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire

After looking into the P0303 code I found that the ECM is not signaling the fuel injector to fire. It has 12V to the injector. Thinking the wire to the ECM may have been chew up by rats I checked it at the ECM and on the inside of the ECM connector and it was good.
All the other fuel injectors are working fine.

My question is could one of the shorted wires damaged the ECM just enough that the cylinder 3 injector is the only one not firing?

That's possible. Could be a bad injector too. If the wire is good, and you are SURE it is good, but, it won't flash a noid light, good chance the driver for it in the PCM died.

Thanks for replying to my question.
I did cut the injector wire about 8 inches from the ECM connector to make sure the noid did not flash. Then I pulled off the connector and checked to make sure I had continuity through the wire to the other side of the connector.

I have never replace an ECM on any of my vehicles before.

Can I by one of these plug and play ECMs that you see on the internet and not have to do anything with the keys security?

What color is your ignition key? (I don't think any of the 2nd gens had SKIM...) Yours just need to be flashed to the correct VIN, and probably mileage, and it's all good. Get one from a local parts store, prices are about the same, and if there is a problem, you can walk into the store, and talk to a real human. (well, semi-sentient being at least.....)

My ignition key is black.

I think I will try to get the 2 sets of oxygen sensor wires fixed before I replace the computer to make sure it doesn't cause problems with the new one. I checked locally and the price was comparable.
Thanks for your help.

That key doesn't have a chip in it so you are good to go.
