Anybody know what happens if the bands are adjusted too tight? I know you have a lot of slip if they’re loose but I just want to know if trial and error might be dangerous

ok maybe I’ll try tightening the band a little more if the slip doesn’t go away with driving, I’m hoping it’s that fluid just needs to be pumped through more

I don't think that's your problem. The codes you are getting indicate something is definitely wrong in there......

so what should I do about the 3-4 solenoid, I didn’t touch the solenoid, I just put a new spring in. I was thinking maybe it went so long broken that the trans is expecting different pressure

Could the 3-4 issue be the shift valve spring? I know it’s in there, I remember putting it in, but I’m trying to tick all my boxes

Pretty sure you have a short to voltage in there. (volts to high) and possibly a pinched wire for the O/D solenoid as well.

hmmm, so I need to check the plug that goes to OD and governor solenoid

Did you drop the valve body to change solenoids? If so, likely that's where the pinched wire is.

no I just pulled the valve body for the governor sensor/solenoid, and the accumulator housing for the wiring harness
