Default Trim falling off

On my 99 the black trim that seperates the 2 colors decided to fall off yesterday. Does anyone have any good tips on replacing it? (what kind of tape tricks stuff like that)

Thanks
Steve

I havent need it yet, but I've seen some trim adheasive at the auto parts store. I think I saw them next to the RTV's and gasket makers.

3M make a contact adhesive for auto body trim, I know Autozone carries it.

hot glue gun... no joke either..i used it many times when i ran out of 3m or trim paste at the detail shop... holds stronger then both...just a bitch to get off when you need to it doesnt hurt the paint.... you just gotta use an idustrial size hot air gun if you wanna melt it to ge tit off... just a suggestion for ya.... cheep way to go to

NO
No
NO
STOP
don't do ANY of that hillbilly ****
do it RIGHT
finish taking the piece off.... use a heat gun to soften it up if need be or a hairdryer on high...
after its off, use an Eraser wheel (any autoparts store that sells to SHOPS not retailers) will have them, use a drill to use them to remove the old tape, clean the surface of the molding and the truck well with alchohol or windex (unless you have a good paint quality wax and greae remover) and then use 3M grey double sided tape, dont be a hack, do it right..

Thanks I will hit the paint shop up see if they have the tape. i know I am from South Carolina but easy on the hillbilly jokes ok? Seriously thanks I was looking for what kind of tape to use I have played the spray ahesive game before never lasts for long only really good for headliners or other cloth applications.
