Default How much Snow

Hey guys, just wondered what is the most snow you have ever driven through?

I took my ram, pictured below, through a fresh 7 inches in my backyard going out to see some deer tracks.
I am mostly curious about how deep of snow i can go through w/out getting stuck, also the best all around
winter/mud/dry pavement tires would be? I think I could have went deeper maybe 12 inches idk? What do
you guys think these trucks can acomplish(SP)?

What kinda snow is it? Powder wise, you could probably go through 12 ft of it and not get stuck

Packed/moist snow is what will get you, I know from experiance!!!

from my limited experince in the snow... packed stuff will get you like Socha said. when your diffs start plowing, then you might be hitting your limit.

I've gone through 14" of heavy wet snow with my truck pulling an old manure spreader full of firewood. [8D] And I have a mis-matched set of tires. ATs on the back and ribbed tires on the front (they're what the truck came with [>:])

As far as tires, I'd say BFG ATs or Firestone/Bridgestone Dueler ATs....or Goodyear Wranglers. All good tires for Pavement/Off-road use.

Oh I can answer this, Im in Ohio and it get nasty sometimes, loose snow, i can go through it up to middle of the doors and not get stuck, like across a field or something, and its really cool because it waves like water from a jet, but hard pack snow, like Socha says, you better have a cell phone with ya.

Socha, ******** got some awesome snowmobiling, been there alot, we go up to the UP for Presidents Day weekend, St. Ignus, you just gotta love 78" of hardpacked trails. How is snow up there now?
