I would find out who made the remote star/alarm then get the info/wiring for it. Do you know what the switches do? It most likely has relays in it and one may be bad. I put in a Clifford remote start/alarm and after a year or so one of the relays started to act up. The relay turns on the power to the truck(remote start) and it is used with the key also.
