Default Shocks and tie rod ends

I’m sure this has been addressed many times but I haven’t been able to find anything…

1999 Ram 1500 4x4 5.9 330,000

Looking for OEM or close replacement shocks…Daily driver

And replacement steering components (tie rod ends, etc)

TIA

Might want to check Monroe for the shocks. Many folks gravitate to Moog for front end components. You can see what's available via Rockauto.com

I think there is a poll in the DIY/FAQ section on what shocks folks are using. The Bilstein 5100's are pretty popular too. (though a bit more expensive than the monroes.)

I have went with moog for a couple of tie rods, not sure if i got a bad batch or what but they didnt last as long as i expected they would.
The last time i changed out my tie rods i went to the local autozone an bought the ones with a lifetime warranty, once a year i just remove em all from the truck head on in an warrranty em out they never ask any questions, and they seem to hold up decently well considering the driving i do 50/50 pavement 50/50 gravel/dirt roads.
