Governer Pressure Sensor question
#31
Appreciate it Atomic. I will check the pressure when we stop in MN to visit some friends for a few days.By the way, my older brother lives in Chesapeake, VA. He left 10 years ago, now I'm heading out. This state is unlivable
And to give back to this great community, I plan to do a thorough write up for the harness swap in case anyone else is in the same boat
Sirrigs, as it sits now, I just pull out in 2nd, then shift into drive, I think this will suite me fine until we get to our place since most of the driving will be highway. I will contact the seller to get replacement components as there was no issues prior to changing it out and I made sure to triple check everything before I bolted the pan on since I was paranoid with anything relating to the internal components of the transmission
Cheers boys

those points don't come easy and appreciate the well wishes. Been trying to get out of this place for a year now and tomorrow morning its happening.
An update to this issue: The problem seems to have been fixed by TIGHTENING MY BATTERY CABLES.
Long story short, rad hose blew right when we stopped at a buddies house, we inspected and replaced, while waiting for the coolant system to bleed, he was going over my vehicle to make sure our vehicle was sound and noticed the cables were hand loose. After tightening them, the problem has gone away (we drove about 30 miles). Prior to this, a cel reset did nothing and appeared after the vehicle got to operating temp.
I'm still in disbelief with all the easy fixes this car has given me.
Till next time boys!
