Default Does it ever end? lol

Dodge transmissions seem to be two steps forward then one step back. Bought a kit to replace sensors, spring, lock out and speed sensor. I received a bad pressure sensor so seller sent two new one's and it was doing good. Well not sure if my bad water hole out front of my place killed the speed sensor maybe it just failed? My road is only enough rood for one lane so I have no choice right now but to go through it ( About 2ft deep). We had about 3 days of rain so under normal conditions they aren't that bad to deal with. Anyway, noticed on the way to the store the speedometer was on 0 but other gauges were working fine. Again no code but I'm sure the sensor is the issue. I still have the old one that was working so I am simply going to put it back in and go from there.
I will be dropping it off at my local transmission shop so he can do some band adjustments along with TV cable. Since replacing all those parts, it has improved a lot. Dealing with long shift pattern with first to second and seems like quick shifts 3rd and 4th. I haven't felt any slipping which good since that was the problem to begin with. Fluid has been very clean no metal sludge at all. She bucking me but I just don't see any major issues and whats going on seems minor. Its just finding and fixing it. I need to find that gremlin and evict him.
Thanks so much for the help you all have given me. Progress is being achieved,

Well changing back to old one wasn't the answer. Since I don't have any check engine or any other lights. I did a ABS test with my code checker and this came up Open Iso solenoid or shorted ecu output -LF. Open power relay contacts. Code 45. 3 total . Tried to google it with no real answers. Anybody have any ideas of what to look for? Can the sensor on the rear end differential be causing this whole order? Like I said, I have no codes and no speedometer.

Sorry, It's a 1999 1500 ram with the 46RE transmission. The sensor if I am correct on the differential is ABS but would it effect my speedometer? I don't have any visual light on dash. The code I have was brought up doing a ABS system check on my Zurich code reader. my guess would be somehow that deep water hole I have may have done something? Thanks

On the 98 and up trucks, speedo gets it's clue from that sensor on the rear diff. The output speed sensor on the trans is pretty much just for shifting purposes. (trans control)

Is your ABS lite on as well?

No. It has no lights at all. The code I got was from the code tool I have. That's what confusing me. I don't know what to change if I don't know what's broken... Its not like the speedometer was acting up before hand. Imay just go ahead and change it and go from there. Thanks

Try checking the instrument cluster with this procedure to ensure it's OK -
