Default Front pulling in water

I have a 98 1500 4X4,QCSB and really don't have any complaints about the steering/front end on normal driving days. I have minimal slop in the steering wheel, 2.5 inch level in the front. Running 285's on 17's. Basically all stock steering components, newer ball joints, steering brace, new Pro Comp shocks..

But...whenever I hit standing water in the road my truck try's to pull to one side. I watch the car or truck in front of me hit the same patch of water and they seem to go through it fine, but mine has scared me a few times with how much it pulls to the side.

Any ideas on whats going on, or what I could fix/replace/add?

I do have a single steering stabilizer shock on the front, but it looks like it could be the original, not sure it replacing that would help anything.

Heavy, wide tires, are going to do that. Trick would be, if you see water you can't avoid, be prepared for what you know is coming.

That's what the steering stabilizer is for, It "absorbs" shocks (fast moving jerks due to road/trail conditions). I replaced mine a few years ago(original) and i did notice a difference. Sounds like yours is shot also.
