Hello, I have a 96 1500, 5.2. Driving other day and stalled. Cranked but would not turn over. Towed home.

Fuel pump wont turn on and no spark. It will crank.

Only thing coming up on scanner is
“ORC occupant restraint controller. Loss of ignition run/start”

fuses and relays are all good. Jumped the fuel relay and pump comes on. Any way yo check PCM?

Does the pump prime at initial key on?

Might wanna verify power at the various spots the PCM expects to see it. If you don't have one already, you can download the service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.

 

I'd check the ASD relay, just swap a different unneeded on in the panel for testing if it fixes it, replace it

 

Pump doesn’t prime. I checked all relays. They were all good. Still need to check pcm power/ ground

 

Did you try the key dance? Make sure your check engine light is not blown first! Codes will be shown as flashes and if you don't have any or at the end of codes it will flash 55 meaning end of codes. If nothing happens then you need to check into power/ground(and key on power) to the PCM.
