That is extremely high, high enough it makes me question you're on the the same setting my brain thinks you are, but its not to high to be impossible either. My experience has been more between 1v and 2v, but you're looking to have a reading under .01v, could you post a picture of your meter/readings just be certain we're on the same page
but it has a leaking diode letting AC voltage into the electrical system causing erratic sensor readings, in result poor shifting
Could just disconnect the alternator and run it off the battery for a test. Sounds like it's time to replace the shift solenoid and sensor. They work in tandem and if the pcm gets bad or erratic info can cause erratic shifting. Can do a pressure test but if the solenoid/sensor are defective that's not going to prove anything. Best way is to monitor what the pcm is seeing with a scanner that can read live data. If that passes then do a pressure test.
On my DVM (and i have looked at the set up on others) there are two "scales-750 and 200. On the 200 scale it shows 2.99-3.00. I'll try to get a picture later today. AAMCO says it is the torque converter failing and I shouldn't drive it except to the repair shop. It problems seems to be getting worse. Really appreciate the help y'all.
